A friend, my son and I visited the Arnold Benscoter Cemetery this past November. Many of the tombstones had been tipped over and damaged on purpose. My friend said she had been there within the last two months and everything was okay then. Does anyone know anything about this? Was the cemetery damaged on Halloween night? Were the people who were responsible for this terrible action caught and punished? Are there any plans to upright the stones? Later that day, my son and I went to the home of the man who I thought was the caretaker, but he was not home. I assumed someone associated with the cemetery knew about the damage, but I cannot get this act of vandalism out of my mind. Can anyone answer my questions? Betty
