Hi, I was hoping someone could tell me what these initials stand for. My ggrandfather, John Drendall joined this Wilkes-Barre organization in 1919 with his sons, Lewis joining in 1920 and Fred joining in 1922. Previously, he joined the POS of A of Mountain Top in 1890. I found this stands for the Patriotic Order of Sons of America. Which seems strange to me, since he was the son of German immigrants. Would like to know more about this organization as well.
