My father, Richard J. O'Donnell, a Minooka native, and some of his 4 brothers played in such a league. In the early 1930's, Dad played on the Bellevue Boosters baseball team and I have a copy of a team photo which appeared in The Scrantonian on Sunday, April 17, 1966. Unfortunately the players are not named but Al Smith is singled out as the manager. I do know that Mike McNally and Chick Shorten played on some of the same teams that my father did but cannot say with certainty that they appear in this photo. I believe that this team plated on a field located in what is known as the Diamond (Diamond Hill?) section. Dick ******************************************************* Richard J.
