    3. Just wanted to let the new people on the list know that I have purchased quite a few books from them and have helped alot of list members with look-ups from these books. Before I even offered to do look-ups I verified the information for it's accuracy. I subscribe to their newsletter as well as visiting their site often. It has been extremely helpful to me in my family research. And yes, the information is available at the library however Folkfinders has compiled it in a searchable format that I can have at my fingertips to do look-ups from home. I'm sure if you contact them to be removed from thier mailing they would do so. I'm thrilled to have another source of Luzerne County information in addition to rootsweb. I wish there were a dozen more. It just makes my research easier. Pam __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get email at your own domain with Yahoo! 3. Hi Pam, I am glad to hear that you (and some other listers) have had success working with Folk Finders. I only question their ethics given the way they are obtaining e-mail addresses from this list to send out bulk solicitations. I will contact them to be removed from their list even though I was never asked to be put on it in the first place. I realize there are always two sides to every story. Thanks for your feedback.
