I have checked the newspaper holdings at the PA State Library for a Sunday paper for Wilkes-Barre around 1926. All the entries say, "Daily, except Sunday". Could someone please advise what newspaper might have had a Sunday edition during that time frame? Thank you, J. Did will records prior to 1972 get lost in "the flood"? If not, could somebody tell me how much the courthouse might charge to obtain a copy? Thanks, J. Rehms Green Bluff, WA USA Researching HUGHES, LEWIS, MORGAN and VAUGHAN in Luzerne County: all good Welsh names

Tonight I missed by hours the sale of the Hiram Rough Family Bible on E-Bay. Though I would have loved to buy the bible it is the family information I am most interested in. If anyone knows who bought the bible I would appreciate your forwarding my email address and this message to them. Hiram Rough was my 3rd great grandfather and I wonder if the buyer of the bible would copy the family pages for me. I would gladly pay for the service and share data on the family if they are interested. Kay Andreas Long kaydan@epix.net

I was just browsing this website, clicked on "New Acquisitions"Jan-June 1998 This society appears to be holding some of the "survivor" 1890 census film. Was donated with a list of films from an Estate of EF Lochner.Vey long list until you actually get to this section. Lots of other interesting things also. Not just PA but many States. Just thought some of you may like to visit this site, many probably already have.
