I thought people were supposed to be sweet on Valentine's Day. I placed a little box of chocolates on Joe's side table to his lounge chair and when he walked in from the garage, he laughs and accuses me of just doing that to make him feel bad. I told him he made it pretty easy. ha ha I think he was planning on going out to Walmart while I was volunteering this afternoon. I don't want any candy and live flowers in the house make both us old people sneeze now. I told him I want a VCR & cd player in my little tv room. I checked out three videos from the local library and trying to watch them (we'll watch the Lincoln one together, we just went to the movies to see the latest one, Daniel Day Lewis and Sally Field are great as Lincoln and his wife, Mary Tyler Moore plays Mary in the one I checked out) between Joe walking in from garage and NEEDING to catch up on the latest news, it's hard to sit & enjoy a movie in the living room. It's a beautiful day here today, chilly but sunny and bright.
