Went to the gro store in Kilmichael yesterday & looked at the lettuce. It was $1.99 & small on top of it.  I figured it would be hight there, but want to see what it was.   Hope Basil will plant some lettuce for us to have in the garden, along with some radishs.   Plus some other early stuff.

It was 1.77 a head for iceberg at Wal-Mart today. But Romaine was 1.49! I like iceburg, but Romaine is my favorite, so that is what I bought. Must come from another area or another country.
