    3. Gang, Got a note from Peggy, who has done some calling around about our two Edna Armstrongs: [Peggy said]................................. just got off the phone with a friend whose husband had a brother who married the daughter, Edna A. Greenwall. Edna Christine was called "big Edna" and her daughter was called "little Edna" (to distinguish them apart. Little Edna was married to Ezra Armstrong. Edna Christine ? was first married to a Greenwall. She and Mr Greenwall had 1 son, Johnny, and he and little Edna were twins. Little Edna died in 1988, the year after her mother died. ---------------------------------------------------- I wonder if the other children were by Greenwall or Armstrong? Thanks, Peggy for clearing that up a bit for me. So, is your friend an Armstrong, too, since her brother-in-law married little Edna? Did she know anything further about the Greenwall person? Thanks. Ken

    2. Why are we looking for info on Edna? I don't have her in my files, should I? I tried to find her on Ancestry.com and couldn't. I found a BILLY GRANTHAM that someone I was entering had married and he had no folks listed. Anybody know who he belongs to? Ken, so glad Tom is finally on the road to normal. I never heard of anybody having such a time with that surgery. -----Original Message----- From: Palmertree Listowner Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2013 11:06 PM To: Palmertree Mailing List Subject: [PTREE] Armstrong/Greenwall Gang, Got a note from Peggy, who has done some calling around about our two Edna Armstrongs: [Peggy said]................................. just got off the phone with a friend whose husband had a brother who married the daughter, Edna A. 3. Janie, >Why are we looking for info on Edna? I don't have her in my files, should I? I tried to find her on Ancestry.com and couldn't. So far we have found no connection to our families to her. Just the Armstrong that she married. Others on the list have connections to him and his ancestors. I like to keep up with things like that in my database, in case I can help a future genealogist with their research. Edna C. Armstrong's daughter married Ezra Armstrong, but I cannot place who he is related to. >I found a BILLY GRANTHAM that someone I was entering had married and he had no folks listed. Anybody know who he belongs to? Unfortunately I don't know anything about him. What first came to mind when I read your message was Billy Weldon. Then I realized that was another person. >Ken, so glad Tom is finally on the road to normal. I never heard of anybody having such a time with that surgery. I think he had a problem with his lungs, and that is why they had to trach him and sedate him after the surgery. He smoked all his life - full-flavored Winstons, no less. I would say nearly 3 packs a day. Go the their home and open any drawer in the kitchen, and Winston cigarettes will jump out at you! He has that 'smoker's cough" all the time. This might be the turning point with his smoking now. He hasn't had one in about a month. He is just now coming around to reality. Boy, don 't I know what he's going through, since it is almost exactly what happened to me back in 2010. Well tell Sharon you asked about them. Ken

    3. Ken,  I talked with my friend who was md. to Billy Webster A. & she didn't know who big Edna was before she md. the Greenwall. And she didn't know if all her children were Greenwall's. ________________________________ From: Palmertree Listowner <palmertree.listowner@gmail.com> To: Palmertree Mailing List <palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2013 11:06 PM Subject: [PTREE] Armstrong/Greenwall Gang, Got a note from Peggy, who has done some calling around about our two Edna Armstrongs: [Peggy said]................................. just got off the phone with a friend whose husband had a brother who married the daughter, Edna A.
