O.D., good to hear from you and that Francine is doing well. I wanted to tell you that I am communicating with the descendents of Zack Garrett who moved to TX in the 1870's. He and his father Joshua communicated and we have the letters he wrote back to his father Joshua and brother William Terrell. If you remember I came out to your house several years ago and we talked about Joshua's letters. The Texas descendents knew very little of their history. They did know that Zack was born in MS and that his parents were Joshua and Mary Grantham. That is about all they knew. We have exchanged photos (they had one of Zack and his sons) and of course I sent them the photo of Mary Grantham Garrett as well as the letters. How fun it is to find long lost relatives.
