    3. Janie, don't talk about big dogs in the house. I like dogs on the outside. Niece Val had 2 boxers but 1 has died, plus a pit, & they all looked like ponies. The pit had to be put down.  Then she got 2 more.  Bet Saben is about a foot plus across the back. ________________________________ From: "janiegaby@suddenlink.net" <janiegaby@suddenlink.net> To: pdacus@gulftel.com; Palmertree Group <palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2013 3:26 PM Subject: Re: [PTREE] I'm watching the stranded cruise ship from my deck Happy Valentines Day to all!  Pretty day here but a little cooler than usual. I was watching the ship but trying to catching up here on some things.  I don't know why some of them on land are having such fits about the problem. I am sure Carnival is doing all they can at the moment.  Couple women that have 12 yr olds on cruise with dads (undoubtedly divorced) where carrying on like they were in immediate danger.  Guess they will hold this over the dads now.  Guess I am not an excitable person.  I am sure the ones on board have been in an uncomfortable position but you just have to make the best of bad times. Ken, the "Joe Coutnang"  is "Joe E Cauthen"  according to the Tarrant County marriage bureau. He was married in Tarrant County, TX to Pamela Knox. Peggy, I have got about 56 pages to go!!!  I believe I will make it before I "kick the bucket".  I have added quite a bit of info from various sources. I often find info on "Find A Grave"  especially when they have an obit. I better get up and pretend to do something.  Triston called to say Happy Valentine's Day and Summer called as well.  Rocky bought a Doberman that gets very big and Amanda has been taking care of him since she is home during the day.  His name is Desik and he is already tall enough to look on kitchen counter.  He has had a rash and yesterday she took him to specialist and he is very allergic to a lot of things so now he is on medications which she has to give him.  I think he is a full time job!!  They should have gotten a smaller dog that would have been easier to handle but I think he wanted the big one in case Amanda had to stay at mountain house while they were adding another room and "man cave"/workshop.  That house is not far from the border as the crow flies. -----Original Message----- From: pdacus@gulftel.com Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2013 2:32 PM To: Palmertree Group Subject: [PTREE] I'm watching the stranded cruise ship from my deck About ten this monring I could see the cruise ship from my house here in Fort Morgan, AL.  It was moving very slowly at that time but is not moving at all now (for several hours) because of a broken tug line. In fact, because it is just drifting I can tell that it has actually drifted away from land. I can tell that by my position on the deck and by its proximity to a certain gas rig. Even when they get it moving again it will take at least six hours to reach port, maybe longer. If Mobile authorities win the battle over traveling at night through the Mobile Bay channel, they won't be getting in tonight.  My husband will probably see it out there when he takes the dog for a sunrise walk in the morning.  I really feel for those poor people who are so excited to be getting home tonight.  Pat Dacus ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALMERTREE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALMERTREE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
