*J**essie Rodgers Stevens** **(October 1**, 1930 - April 11, 2013**) *Funeral services for Jessie R. Stevens of French Camp will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at French Camp Baptist Church in French Camp, with burial following in the Bethsaida Cemetery near French Camp. Rev. Randy Bridges, Rev. Roy Hawkins, and Rev. Wade Stevens will officiate the services. Visitation will be Saturday, from 1:00 until service time, at the church. Mr. Stevens died of cancer at his residence on Thursday, April 11. He was 82 years old. Mr. Stevens was the son of the late Fred and Irene Rodgers Stevens. He was a retired supervisor for TMA Forest Products. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of French Camp Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Jessie Rodgers Stevens, Jr., of Zapata, TX, and Lynn Stevens of New Albany; two sisters, Ethelyn Pruitt of Ackerman and Sybil White of Tupelo; one brother, Johnson Stevens of French Camp; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews
