Before I get up from this PC I better get my notes on here before I forget what they are! 1. I found two William Clyde Grice-Perry’s in my FTM. One is married to Mary Gooden with one child listed as Mattie Louise Gooden b. 1931. The other one is married to Lura Mae “Laura” Palmertree with no children. Can anybody shed a little light on this. 2. William S Grice has three spellings of his middle name. Saires, Silas, Saries. His tombstone has Saries. 3. Kenneth Bowman Sr. died 27 Apr 2008 in Crystal Springs, MS., Copiah Co., USA. 4. I do not have a Billie Jean Cross Hovas or Odell Hovas. Only one Cross, Arden Cross who married Mary Ida Palmertree. 5. I have an extra child for William Grice & Sallie. Louie W. Grice b. abt 1901 and no death info.

Janie, as far as I know William Saries has always been spelled that way. William Saires & Sallie Palmertree's second son was William Lonnie born July 7, 1900 and died 26 Feb, 1962 in Winona. He was married to both of them. He married Laura May "Laura" Palmertree in 1925. I have that she married first to Felix Denton in 1919 with no children in my database for that couple. He then married Mary Gooden , (marriage date unknown to me). They had two children, according to my notes: (1) Mattie Louise Gooden b/ 1931 and Clyde Lee Gooden b/ 1933. I am not sure about why I have GOODEN for the children's surname. According to notes from O.D. McElroy , " Will Perry adopted William after his marriage to William's mother, Evie Gregg Hutchins Gregg. He states that William was always known as William Clyde Perry." >2. Grice b. abt 1901 and no death info. Could he have been born between Mary Annie Francis (b/ 1897) and Willliam Lonnie( b/ 1900)? Or between William Lonnie (b/ 1900) and Emma "Emmie" (b/ 1902)? Or could his name have been changed to William Lonnie? I think it was the latter explanation. Three children born 1 year apart?????? Ken
