Peggy, I've never heard of Meijer green beans. Thank Goodness ha ha. I really am surprised that does not happen more often with the huge canning plants, and so many machines picking the beans etc. Speaking of beans, I met my daughter for lunch yesterday at a place called Chili's (I think that is the way it is spelled) I was ordering, the dish I wanted had black beans, I asked for a substitution, asked if they had any pinto or brown beans, he shook his head and said "No they didn't have those at all." I was surprised and said "A Mexican restaurant that doesn't have brown beans?" My daughter and the waiter looked surprised and both said at the same time. "Chili's is not a Mexican restaurant." I replied, "Well, usually I would think a restaurant named Chilis and having a Red Pepper on the doors, signs, menus etc would be a Mexican Restaurant." I'm still surprised. I've been there before, ordered what I think of as Mexican food but never thought about it not being a Mexican restaurant. Strange! at least to me!. I saw where a INDIANA woman found a frog in one of the cans she had. I'm going to watch my food when I open a can.
