That is hilarious!!! I just had to get a new phone from Verizon, I have for years had my little flip phone that would only talk and text . When I had time to do something else I sat down here at my computer which is a laptop but is a big one so I usually leave it sitting right here in the corner of my kitchen. I got an Iphone 4 because that is what my daughter has and she can help me with mine. Bought a book but it is still too technical for me. Sounds like they are speaking a foreign language. My kids told me to just play with it. The first night I had it, I sent out a picture I didn't even know I had until the next day. That is scarey!! ha ha Later, heading to the Commissary to fight the Easter Dinner shopping crowd, I am one, I've never waited this long to shop for a big dinner but Easter being in March, even if it is the last day threw my schedule off. My sister Beverly and I just had a great time when we recently visited my son in LaJolla, CA. I finally made it to Catalina Island. We rode the ferry over and stayed one night in Avalon. Took bus tours of the back country and up to the air port on top of a hill/mountain? called the Air Port in the Sky, there had a Buffalo Chili and their famous cookies for lunch. I was amazed when Dave told me he had done that gravel, hilly, bumpy road on bicycle a couple of years ago. They used to camp over there at Twin Harbors across the island from Avalon. They once sent me a pic of Brandon & cousin in the water with just hair, goggles and snorkle tube sticking out of the water, I made it 8-10 and hung it on Mom's closet door at the living center. Her nurses and aides would stand and look at that picture talking about the beautiful cool blue water, telling Mom they wished they could be there. It was August in Oklahoma, who wouldn't rather be there? What is plumb crazy, it was March & it was warmer in OK than it was in San Diego while we were there! I think 12 buffalo were brought to Catalina for a movie way way back, I think it was a Zane Grey western and now there are still 200 on the island. They have deer also which are protected, having way too many babies but they are eating too much of the natural grass and trees and they would like for Calif. to come get their deer back. We had a great time. We called it Our March Madness. Well, those funny weather forecasters said there would be rain this morning, so better trudge off to the Commissary before I find a reason to not go. Bye Nova .
