*M**axie Pullen** **(**July 16, 1932 - March 6, 2013**) *Funeral services for Maxie Pullen of Kilmichael will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, at the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael. Mr. Dan Beardain will officiate the services. Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, from 5:00 until :7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home. Mr. Pullen died of heart failure at his residence on Wednesday, March 6. He was 80 years old. Mr. Pullen was the son of the late Thomas Preston and Leola Youngblood Pullen. He was a retired farmer, cattleman, and truck driver. Mr. Pullen was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Big Black Masonic Lodge. He was a Baptist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mickey Pullen; and a granddaughter, Pazlee Greenlee. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Braswell Greenlee of Kilmichael; three daughters, Mackie Greenlee of Kilmichael, Mitzie Henson of Sarasota, FL; and Christy Pullen Brown of Meridian; two sisters, Wavylon Orsborn of Winona and Mary Morgan of Winona; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandsons.
