    3. One of Corrine Hunt's children was Arnold Troy Hunt DOB 27 Dec 1937, Died 5 Nov 2012. I was contacted by his son in Colorado searching for the location of Corrine's burial location. He plans To soon sprinkle Arnold Troy's ashes at the burial spot of Corrine at Bethel Methodist Cemetery. Those Were always his wishes. Jan. 12, 1945 Winona Times Winona, Ms. Mrs. Dewey Hunt (Corrine Hunt) Funeral services for Mrs. Dewey Hunt, Jan. 5, at 3 o'clock, at the Bethel Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Burden officiating. Interment was in Bethel Church yard with Lee Funeral home in charge of arrangement. Mrs. Hunt was seriously burned Jan. 2nd when her house coat caught fire from an open fireplace, unable to get the coat off, she fought the flames the best she could but could not check them. After her clothing had burned to shreds, she finished pulling them off, dressed , & then sought the aid of a neighbor about a quarter of a mile away. This neighbor had to go to another neighbor for a driver to bring Mrs. Hunt to the hospital. En route to town, the car got stuck & still another neighbor's help was sought. She was burned about 10 o'clock in the morning but it was almost 2 before she reached the hospital. Every effort was made to save her but there was no hope even from the start. She died at the Winona Infirmary at 1.40 pm. Thurs. Jan. 4. Mrs. Hunt was 30 years old & a member of the Bethsaida Baptist Church. She was a true Christian, a devoted wife & mother, & was loved by everyone. At the time she was burned, no one was home but her 4 year old daughter, Willa Dean, who she carried with her to get help. Surviving are her husband & 3 children, Travis 8, Troy 7 & Willa Dean 4, of French Camp; her mother, Mrs. W.H. Barnhill, Winona; 3 sisters, Mrs. W.L. Gould, Mrs, Bertha Collins, of Winona, Mrs. Ernest Crowder, French Camp; 5 brothers, W.R. Barnhill, R.L. Barnhill, R.I. Barnhill, R.C.
