Hey Ed, I didn't play or see any one playing but I was driven by the Torrey Pines Golf Course earlier this week. It is in LaJolla near where my son lives. My sister Beverly and I were out visiting him. Had a great time. He jogs down a path that takes him right by one of the links. He stopped and took a pic of Tiger W. once a few years ago, the path is on the outside of a link fence but really close. His son used to go to Torrey Pines Elementary School. Joe used to golf but not in years now. My son in law won the Meat Loaf Trophy in a golf game sponsored by one of his suppliers. He runs the butcher shop in a Homeland Store. That can be pretty handy!!! Every so often he can be talked into frying a turkey and ham. All the guys follow him into the house when he is finished frying a spiral cut ham. It's a lazy day around the house today. Catching up on a few things. Later Nova . In a message dated 3/24/2013 1:59:15 P.M. I hope your ok in your location, we are just having a nasty cold misty day, rain stopped this morning... I am hoping the golf tournament will come back on and they can play this afternoon..... Stay safe down there in gator land.... We got lucky! Friday night it rained and kept on raining ... the rain gauge showed 2.50 in. We really needed it. We have had a drought here for almost two years. We are supposed to get more rain today but will just have to wait and see. The Friday rain was a surprise. The weathermen predicted light rain ... and they were as surprised as anyone when these heavy rains popped up. Today may get stormy. I can do without the high winds and lightening -- but sure hope we get a slow steady rain.
