    3. Nova, I think I am completely over that stupid incident. It's awful, feeling like you're standing on an earthquake fault line. I feel knee problems coming on. Sure hope and pray it never will lead to replacement surgery! I know when someone older takes a fall, it looks funny to others watching. Ha - if they only knew it hurts your ego more than what body part you fell on! I am so unbalanced when I go shopping that I have to get out at the main entrance and use my cane to get inside with, where I usually get a go-cart .... unless I'm feeling pretty suicidal. I have almost fallen in the pedestrian zone ( I really don't think anyone knows what that is anymore), so I really have to watch it crossing the street. I'm waiting for the day a little old lady helps me across the crosswalk! However, there are a lot of very nice people around who take the time to GET OUT OF YOUR WAY, and even help you. One day I was at Wal-Mart and passed a guy leaving. Would you believe he actually took time to come back and help me, since I was about to lose it then. He must have been a real Christian to have a big heart like that. Now days folks are in too big of a hurry to help someone - young or old. Such a shame to lose "stars in your crown" on judgment day - for not doing simple things like helping others. Ok, changing hats now.. Thank you all for asking about me. Joe had his first fall two weeks ago. He fell stepping into one of the barn/garages. He scraped his forehead a little and was just shaken up. Last week one of his knees really started giving him trouble. He finally called and could not get in to his Dr fast enough, went to minor emergency when he started having such pain he almost couldn't walk. That guy said it was either a pulled ligament or arthritis, gave him something for pain & steroids of some kind. If he is not better next week, he goes back for MRI. He was looking for some crutches a minute ago. We used to have some in the garage but think we loaned them to some of the family. I wish he would carry his cell phone with him around here, sometimes I am in town a lot and I worry about him, he said when he fell, I hope I don't pass out, who knows if he did or not? Anyway, certainly glad you are healing well, If you took a photo I will exchange face plant phtos with you. Ha Ha. I face planted a concrete patio last May in KY. I really did look just like I had been beat up, with makeup and my glasses it didn't show much, but Joe said he wasn't going anywhere with me until it healed. ha ha I already had an eye doc apt so that was good, I had him check my eyes out good. Where I fell was at a KY Derby Party at Joe's sister's house. She is an insurance broker, she probably tripled her home owners after that. ha ha and NO Ken & Peggy I was NOT drinking. I was helping Joe's younger bro start picking up cups and paper plates, started to step up on the patio of the tiki hut and my sandal toe tripped over the edge of it. Pat said he tried to grab me but I went too fast!! I teased Joe that I was saving those pictures in case I needed them to use against him. ha ha The worse part, I didn't bet on any good horses. The only one I saw really winning any money was our son Dave.(two real bookies were in the tiki hut) But seeing everyone is such fun. We had a Ladies Derby Hat contest but Clayton, Lisa's husband won third place for his little bowler? black hat with a 1/2 of a plastic horse, the back half !!! glued on the front. Lisa won second, her hat had horses that would swirl around the crown of the hat and roses. Ken, I'm so glad you are back on line!! Miss when you are not. Bye Nova (Me, too!)
