Sue was born Jan. 22, 1934 in Kosciusko, Miss, the daughter of the late Paul Cul Dees & Lillian Miller Dees. She was married to Jim Scarborough June 2, 1981. The two were virtually inseparable for 28 years & travedled widely until Mr. Scarborough's passing in 2009. She is survived by her loving sons Steve Caldwell of San Francisco, Ca. & Michael Caldwell of Nashville, Tn. & by their father Pete Caldwell of Carthage. Stepchildren include Gary Scarborough, Kosciusko & Kathy Scarbough, Pascagoula. She is also survived by brother, L.T. Downs of Miss., daughter in law Debbie Caldwell, Nashville, Tn., Cindy Caldwell, San Francisco, Ca; Anita Scarborough, Kosciusko, Ms.; grandchildren, Bryce Caldwell, Knoville, Tn.; Leah & husband Mark Asdell, Phoenix, Az.; Linsay & husband SethArgo, Nashville, Tn.; Mallory Caldwell, Phoenix, Az.; & Dulcy Williams, Oascagoula, Ms. Sue is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, Zoe Caldwell, Knoxville, Tn.; Aubrey, Sidney & Charlotte Asdell; & Isabelle & Oscar Argo, Nashville, Tn. She was preceded in death by husband Jim Scarborough; brothers, Felton Oliver Dees, Johnnie Elton Dees, sisters, Lillie Mae Gibson, Ella Mae Dees Ryals, Katie Bell Dees Gibson, & Katie Lois Dees Hodges & Daughter in law, Sandra Oliver Caldwell. A celebration of life service is planned for 11:a.m. Thursday, May 2, in Kosciusko at Jordan Funeral Home. Visitation will be same morning from 9 a.m. until service time. Rev Barry Corbett of First Baptist Church Kosciusko will officiate.
