Allbritton, died early Tuesday morning from injuries sustained when she was severely burned Saturdaynight, November 7th. Miss Allbritton was burned when her night garments caught fire before an open fireplace at the family home.  The lower part of her body was almost entirely  burned by the flames.  Physicians  had held little hope that she would recover & did everything posible to relieve the terrible suffering to which she was subjected. Funeral serices were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the family home.  The Revs. V.E. Boston, A.C. McCorkle & H.L. Villee conducted the serices.  Interment followed at the Oakwood Cemetery.  Pallbearers were; Edwayne Henderson, Richard Smith, Waldo Eubanks, Franklin Tanner, John Thompson & Rauymond Lovins. The deceased is survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. W.S. Allbritton, 1 brother, Ralph, who lives in Kansas, a twin sister, Eva & 3 other sisters, Misses Clara Bell, Mary Sue & Sarah. The tragic death of this popular & accomplished young lady is deeply felt by the entire community.  Her many friends are grieved at her untimely death.  Only having graduated from the Winona High School last spring, life seemed to hold everything worthwhile for her when the Grim Reaper called & snuffed out the light that promised to bring to much happines to her & her loved ones. The tragic death of her young brother, "Sonny" just a little more than a uyear agop is still fresh in the minds of all.  Wade Reed, familarily known as "Sonny" was accidently killed in an automobile wreck in the summer of 1930 while, in company with 2 companions, he was going to Vaiden to advertise a baseball game.  At the time of his death he was only 13.  ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALMERTREE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
