Cuz, Did you get this straightened out? William Pinkney "Pink" Braswell married Martha Jane "Mattie" Palmertree. He was not a brother of Dock (Palmertree). George Pinkney Braswell married Annie Shumaker and was no relation to William Pinkney Braswell. He was the son of Dock Milford Braswell and Lillie Perdette Canon. Just wish I could get my research put back on my comp. There was a "Pink" Braswell who md. a P'tree woman & they are buried north of Kosciusko, just off hwy 43. I want to think Dock & Pink were brothers. Those nicknames can get you mixed up also. It was 2 men in my family named John, (cousin) so to keep they straight, 1 was call blue John & the other black John, because of their eyes. I remember my father talking about them & I know black John was my grandpa's brother. I've told my nephew the story, so he would know about it. Even my gr.gr,grandpa stuck Alexander on everyone of his sons (8 to 10). Glad his daughter md. into the Maxwell's & left the Alexander to the boys. (A.A, A.Pascal, A.James, I can't rmember the rest) We are having some nice warm days, but some cooler weather may move in by the weekend, Now don't get out & try to get a sun tan before halloween. Peggy ________________________________ I will surely be glad when I get through entering this batch of people. I will have to go through and weed out all the duplicates I haven’t already taken care to merge. Peggy, so far, I don’t find “Annie Canon (or Cannon) Braswell in my files. I found a Dock Milford Braswell, 1858-1919 married to Lilly Perditte, 1861-1948. I may yet find her. Things would not be so confusing if people didn’t marry so many times having kids by more than one spouse or name all the kids the same thing or same initials. We had a rather warm day today. Hope it is a little cooler tomorrow. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALMERTREE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALMERTREE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
