Ken --------------------------- The Star-Herald Kosciusko, MS December 3, 2008 Ellis-McElroy vows planned in December Miss Brittany Michelle Ellis and Christopher Marc McElroy will exchange marriage vows on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church in the Friendship Community. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Close friends and family are invited to attend. The bride-elect is the daughter of James and Lesa Ellis of Sallis. She is the granddaughter of Nell and Eugene Barfield of Kosciusko, the late Samuel Bernard Burns also of Kosciusko, Myrtie Sue Ellis and the late Quit Ellis of Durant. Miss Ellis graduated from Mid-Mississippi Home Educators and Holmes Community College. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mark and Rhonda McElroy of Friendship Community. He is the grandson of Brenda and Jamie Hodges of Shady Grove Community and the late Kathleen and Carl McElroy of Friendship Community. He graduated from Ethel High School and is attending Holmes Community College. He is self-employed as a taxidermist at McElroy's Taxidermy. The couple will reside in Friendship Community.
