The will [book does not tell where the will is filed, I would assume Pickens County Alabama]of Theophilus Grice lists his children as: Temperance Ann who married Joseph H. Hinton on May 11, 1825. Thomas [this is a son] who married Eliza Jane Hinton on August 16, 1836, Sally who married Lazarus Cook, John who married Mary Simms on September 28, 1826, and Rhoda. Joseph H. and Eliza Jane Hinton were brother and sister. Rhoda Grice, orphan of Theophilus Grice. Bond 1835, returns 182-39 Bartley Deans, gdn. Settlement august 6, 1839. Temperance Ann Grice, orphane of Theophilus Grice. Bond 1824, return 1826 by Josiah Houlder, gdn. Was Temperance Ann Hinton in 1826. Thomas T. Grice, orphan of Theophilus Grice. Bonds 1824-17-30-33-35, returns 1827-36 by Josiah Houlder, gdn. Paid Polly Grice for board. /end quote There are four more pages of photos and misc information.
