The Commercial Appeal Memphis, TN January 2, 2003 Walton Emmett Armstrong WEST POINT - Walton Emmett Armstrong, 85, retired delivery man for Miller Brothers Dairy, died Wednesday at Birmingham Veterans Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home with burial in Palo Alto Cemetery. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He leaves a daughter, Linda Armstrong McMillan of Birmingham; three sisters, Hazel Armstrong Thomas of West Point, Velma Armstrong Hill of Windham, Maine, and Pauline Armstrong Emery of Manchester, N.H.; three brothers, Claude Armstrong of Sallis, Clyde Armstrong of Cumberland, Maine, and Ellis Armstrong of New Albany, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
