Ken The Greenwood Commonwealth Greenwood, MS March 31, 2009 Robert Gene 'Bobby' Cason ACKERMAN n Services for Robert Gene "Bobby" Cason of Ackerman will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at French Camp Baptist Church in French Camp. Mr. Cason, 74, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, at his residence in Ackerman. Mr. Cason was born in Tennessee on Feb. 23, 1935, to Thomas and Sammie Barnes Cason. He was a former resident of Greenwood and graduated from Greenwood High. Mr. Cason also attended Mississippi State University in Starkville where he played football. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of French Camp Baptist Church in French Camp. Mr. Cason was a longtime employee of National Picture Frame Company in Greenwood and retired from Motor Guide Factory in Starkville. Mr. Cason is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rose Bramlett Cason of Ackerman; his son, Robert Chris Cason of Lubbock, Texas; his daughter, Beth Cason of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren, Michael Cason, Myzti Cason and Christopher Cason; three step-children, Melinda Bennett of Kilmichael, James A. Green of Tupelo and Milton Green of Tupelo; and five step-grandchildren, Matthew Bennett, Steven Bennett, William Bennett, J. R. Green and Sara Green. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at French Camp Baptist Church in French Camp. The Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Terry Bennett, Andy Green, Hudson Chesteen, Claude Taylor, Happy Grice and Larry Stevens. Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood.
