    1. [PTREE] Easter Memories
    2. I remember going to "Sunrise Service" on Easter morning. My family would gather with the regular church members of Centerville Baptist Church to celebrate Christ's Ressurection. The service was held right at sunup in the church cemetery. The cemetery faced the East, and when the sun came up it was such an awesome sight - and an awesome experience. Standing in a cemetery amidst the graves of your ancestors and family buried there. It sure made an impression of just how His followers felt when they arrived at an empty tomb on Ressurection Sunday. In my mind I could just see all those graves opening up and the dead rising. To be honest, those were freaky thoughts to a 10 year old! And now we genealogist don't think anything about prowling through cemeteries at any time of the day or week. Ha. Oh yeah - Question: Q: Why are there fences around cemeteries? A: Because people are just tying to get in. Ken
