    3. Well, I don't have anything to add to the Palmertrees either, but you guys sure have been a good jumping off point for my research on my Poplar Creek lines. I've been able to push past my Dinah Garner who married William D. Herring into her mother's Heslip family. Turns out the Heslips are another old family in the Montgomery/Carroll county area. Dinah's mother Selah Heslep Garner is buried in the Old MIddleton Cemetery in Winona and a fragment of her headstone is one of the very few surving stones there. I guess I said all that to say this, Thanks to all of you for the information posted to the list. Anyone with Poplar Creek roots will find a wealth of information in the archives here. Good job everyone. Jeannine Jeannine Kirkpatrick Smith On Sat, 7 Feb 2009, peggy palmertree wrote: > > > I've gone to a line tonight, since there hasn't been any on the P'tree. My gr.grandmother was a "HOGG" from Ala. They started in 1999 & most of their mail was under 10--sure was a lot of 1's. Just hope we don't get that bad. > > PP > ------------------------------- > Visit the Palmertree Family History website at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~palmrtre/index.htm > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALMERTREE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
