The Commercial Appeal Memphis, TN June 18, 2008 Norvell William Greer 90, passed away, Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Hill South with visitation from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mr. Greer was of the Methodist Faith and was a WWII Navy veteran and retired from Hershey Memphis. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 60 years, Mildred, and a son, Michael Greer. He leaves his wife of 10 years, Billie; a daughter, Mary Anne Borzak of Franklin, NC; and son, Kenneth Lee Greer of Memphis; a step-daughter, Terri Jones of Ridgeland, MS and stepson, James Higgins of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
