I would like to know how they could "prove" that Gailey did not know this person. One of my cousins Jesse P'tree (not the one from Idaho) back in the early fifties, was on a jury in Pauls Valley, OK. I'd always been fascinated by trial shows on TV, Perry Mason etc, so I attended the trial for two days. It totally confused me because I absolutely believed two guys on opposite sides of the case and they were telling totally opposite stories. It was really confusing to a preteen girl. I didn't have that trouble when several years ago I was in the Federal jury pool for one month in OKC and on three trials. Sent the bad guys up the river with no qualms! Way too much evidence! Going in I thought I would be like a follower, but found out quickly I was as smart as the rest of them. Sorry, Guys but I have to tell this one. In the jury room while discussing this case, we had a plastic bag with a new Glock gun and in another plastic bag was the loaded clip. The MEN on the jury were insisting on putting the loaded clip into the gun to see if it fit. I had been quiet (Yes I know, hard to beleive. ha) up to that point but that's when I slammed my hand on the table and said, "That is the last thing the judge said to us, that she hopes we are smart enough not to do that!!!" The other female jurors then agreed with me and the clip was not placed in the gun. The question anyway was whether both were stolen not whether that clip fit that gun. He'd ordered whole shipments from were he worked, sent to his house where a policeman in UPS Uniform had him sign for them. I just didn't want to go down in history as being on a jury that shot one of their own. If you like to read about trials and interested in hearing more of my jury story, just send me an email. As one of the funnier judges said at the end of one trial. "You are now dismissed and may now discuss this trial with anyone you can get to listen to you!!" Nova I'd love to hear from you if you've been on a jury!! . **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
