I didn't know you worked at MSU Jeannine. I have another cousin who works there, Richard Forbes. At least he was still working there a year ago. Well, having an inquiring mind I had to look him up. He's listed as still being a professor of Mechanical Engineering. Cousin Lola is still living here in Grenada. Her name is Lola Ingram Forbes. Her mom was Stella Applewhite. I called her Aunt Stella but I think that she was actually my great, great aunt. She was a sister to my grandmother Erma Tompkins Walker's mother, Eliza Josephine Applewhite Tompkins. Lola and L. T. Forbes (everybody called him "Forbes") had two sons, Richard and James. Richard graduated from West Point Academy and from there, the only thing I ever knew that he did was to teach in the engineering department at MSU and it seems he did something in real estate but I can't remember what. James owns a sawmill in Alabama. I think the name of the company is Millry Mill Company if my memory is working today. -------------- Original message from "patsy williamson" <patswill@bellsouth.net>: -------------- > What was Richard's Mother's name.
