Peggy, Tell Francine when she calls for the appt that she needs an emergent appointment. Usually with insurance company contacts there is a clause that when calling for an emergent appt it has to be made with in a 48 hour period. If they have regular insurance and not Medicare have her call the insurance company and ask if he can be referred to a case manager. If so this is a good route to go.
