Ed, His parents were John Lamon Armstrong, Sr. and Ruth May "Ruthie" Knight. John died in 1958 and is buried at Bethsaida Baptist in Montgomery County. Ruthie remarried to Robert Wesley Channell (first cousin of Emmitt Channell) and they are both buried at Covenant Baptist in Montgomery County. John L. Armstrong, Sr. was the 7th child born to Reason and Lelia Parkerson Armstrong. I don't have any further information on John, Jr.'s family, so maybe the obituary will help with that. Ken -----Original Message----- Ken, Do you have the names of his father and mother, I must be missing some of the children from his grand parents... any help appreciated,,, ED B..
