I have been watching some of the third round of the PGA Memorial Tournament from the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio today. I saw something I have never witnessed in golf today. On the 13th hole, Steward Cink had to make a drive of about 220 feet to the hole. He must have put a little too much power on it because the ball flew high and completely missed the fairway, coming down into the first line of spectators and cracked a fan on the head. You could actually hear the "crack" when it hit the man. I'm surprised it didn't give him a concussion. He was bleeding like crazy and they had to haul him off to the first aid station for treatment. Kinda stopped the game for a bit. Haven't heard any more about his condition. I can't imagine how that must have made Stewart Cink feel. I would have been mortified. I wonder if there will be some money changing hands over this???? Ken
Guess he couldn't hear "fore" at that distance. Or is it four? Ed, do they even yell that?
