The Ledger Lakeland, FL January 3, 2009 VIRGINIA LEE CARVER, 69 Supervisor LAKE ALFRED - Virginia Lee Carver, age 69, died of heart failure Wednesday (Dec. 30, 2008). Born in Cleveland, MS., on Sept. 18, 1939, she came here from MS., in 1958. She was a supervisor for Fore Co., and of the Southern Baptist faith. Ms. Carver is survived by her sons Royce Carver, Lakeland, Jannell L. Carver, Lake Alfred; daughters Mary Sue Carver Wills, Winter Haven, Virginia Anet Carver, Polk City, Jolanda Lytes, North, S.C., Loyce Lynn Harkness, Groveland, Erin J. Carver, Lake Aflred; brother William Overstreet, Winter Haven; sisters Ida Jones and Vellma Robinson, both of Winter Haven, Johnie Smith, Oroville, CA.; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
