April 10, 1942 The Winona Times Winona, Ms. Mrs. Mary Ethel Thomas Last rites for Mrs. Mary Ethel Thomas who died at her home in Kilmichael March 27th. were held at the Bethsida Baptist church with the Rev. J.W. Eidson, assisted by the Rev. Carl Oakes, officiating. Interment followed in the Bethsaida cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Thomas, who was 58 years of age, is survived by her husband, J. Pat Thomas; 2 sons, Jim Thomas of Poplar Creek & Jewell Thomas of Kilmichael; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ervie Peeler & Mrs. Woodrow Martin, both of French Camp & 2 brothers, W.E. Walker & J.O. Walker of Kilmichael.
