Don Grice July 11, 1950-October 6, 2011 Don Grice, age 61, of Pearcy, Arkansas, formally of Petaluma, California, went to Heaven, Thursday, October 6, 2011, after a lengthy battle with cancer. "No more pain; no more sorrow." He was born on July 11, 1950, at Vicksburg, Mississippi, the son of William "Roy" Grice and Edith "Pauline" Green Grice, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three brothers. He was Baptist by faith and a dedicated employee of SSA Terminals in Oakland, California for over 36 years. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Retha and Steve Johnson of Bonnerdale, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Lynette Taylor of Salcher, Alaska; two nieces and husbands, Nikki and Brady Ballard and Kristy and Adam Walker, all of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three nephews, Terry Taylor and wife Holly, and Tracy Taylor all of Hot Springs, Arkansas and J. D. Taylor of Alaska; six great-nephews, Michael, Patrick, Jared, James, Isaac, and Reid and one great-niece, Krsytiana, who all loved to go to Uncle Donnie's for snacks; other extended family members and a host of friends. He will be missed very much by family, friends and co-workers. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 11, 2011, in the Pine Bluff Church in Poplar Creek, Mississippi with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Monday in the Oliver Funeral Home.
