May 25, 1946 The Winona Times Winona, Times J.M. Rosamond Funeral services for John Moore Rosamond, 76, were held at Pine Bluff Baptiss Church at 2:00 p.m. May 14th. conducted by Clarence Burden.  Interment was in the cemetery there. Mr. Rosamond died of cancer the previous day at his home in the Poplar Creek community where he had been a resident for a number of years& was a active member in the civic & religious activities in the community. Surviving the deceased is his wife, Martha Ellis Rosamond; 2 daughters, Pearl Sanders & Lucille Davis;  4 sons, Homer Rosamond, Virgil  Rosamod, Floyd Rosamod, & Vernon; 20 grandsons & 4 granddaughters all of Poplar Creek
