    3. Jeannine, I forget which McClellans were your line. I have both spellings in my FTM. I think the earliest date I have is a Patrick b. 1380 and killed in 1452 by the Earl of Douglas. His wife was Janet Gray b. 1385 in Broxmouth, Roxurghshire, Scotland and d. 1441 in Auchterhouse, Angus..., Scotland. I also found the Long Cemetery in Carroll Co. yesterday but imagine you have been there already. I also found that Samuel B Sr. was in US/Mex war 1846-1848. -----Original Message----- From: Jeannine K Smith Sent: Saturday, November 05, 2011 2:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [PTREE] line Oh Dorothy, I am so sorry to hear this. 3. Janie, My McClellan's are David & Susan Watson (Holmes County 1850 - Susan then in Montgomery) = Aaron David and Sabra Hambric - David Ephriam and Mary Lee Evans, all of Hebron. I've seen it spelled with a 'd' on the end and as McLellan(d). WE know the original David was born in Ireland and Susan in SC. We have found a David Mc on a ship passenger list coming from Liverpool that may be ours. WE have no idea what happened to him between 1850 and 1860. There is a person on the internet/ancestry that has some pretty wild claims about him having six or eight wives and travelling between them from the Carolinas thru MS. I've found nothing to support her claims and there is no oral history that supports that. I have looked at the Long Cemetery, just can't tie mine into them.
