Gang, Wanted to wish all of you a safe and happy Thanksgiving. I've been up early, cooking for tomorrow. Helping bake the cornbread for the dressing, cooking the chicken for the juice for the dressing, preparing the sweet potato casserole to cook in the morning, and will be helping make sugar-free brownies and stuffed eggs late this afternoon. Other desserts will be brought by family. Peggy's always saying "Don't eat too much", but I say EAT IT ALL!! Besides Thanksgiving only comes once a year. To that I say, quoting one of my favorite hymns: ---------------------------------------------------------- We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing; He chastens and hastens His will to make known. The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing. Sing praises to His Name; He forgets not His own. Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining, Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine; So from the beginning the fight we were winning; Thou, Lord, were at our side, all glory be Thine! We all do extol Thee, Thou Leader triumphant, And pray that Thou still our Defender will be. Let Thy congregation escape tribulation; Thy Name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free! Happy Thanksgiving! Ken ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
