Ken PS- Speaking of HA! - Anyone heard from O.D. lately? I know I've been incognito, but it is most unusual for him not to have a note or two online. Just wondering if things are ok with his health? 1. Re: [PTREE] Ruby Stevens- story of her last weekend
    2. Jenny McCrory
    3. I talked a while with my sister n law  a good while last night (Larry Steven's daughter).     Mrs. Ruby was seemingly doing well--  this past weekend,  Monica and her family drove out to French Camp Saturday morning and Mrs. Ruby made Homemade biscuits and sausage, etc for them, and they ate breakfast. Then She and daughter Becky kept Monica's 4 girls so Bryant and Monica could do some Christmas shopping.  Becky asked Mrs.Stevens if she wanted her to take the girls to her house and spend the night rather than Mrs.Ruby's.  Her reply was no because she was 83 and this time next year she might not be able to keep kids--  she wanted to enjoy this time with her girls.  So they all spent the night, then Bryant and Monica returned on Sunday, went to church w/ Mrs. Ruby and ate lunch with her.  (she was a good cook)  Everything Monica knows about cooking she learned from Mrs. Ruby, and she said her first Turkey,  "grandmommy" talked her through the whole thing,  starting at 6 AM..  over the phone.    They found her in her bed, on her side, covered up,  Coroner says she passed about midnight.  In her own home, own bed..  not needing alot of help her last few years,   I think the Lord blessed her and the whole family in that way.  They didnt' have to watch her suffer -- like with so many diseases, including cancer.    THIS IS THE WAY I WANT TO GO..   I would like to go to sleep in my own bed, and wake up with Jesus!  (I may not get that choice, who knows.. but it is the best way to go, I can think of!)   I hope all of you have a BLESSED Thanksgiving!  JENNY     From: Ken Jackson <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, November 23, 2011 1:31 PM Subject: [PTREE] Ruby Stevens Ruby was Ruby Henderson Stevens, married to Eugene G.
