Star Herald Kosciusko, Ms Aug. 11, 2011   Luther Lyndol Hunt   Funeral services for Luther Lyndol Hunt of Poplar Creek will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug 13, at Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Poplar Creek Nations Cemetery.   Visitation will be Friday, August 12, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home in Winona.   Mr. Hunt died Tuesday, August 9, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.  He was 82 years of age.   He was the son of the late T.J. & Alma Gregg Hunt. He was a retired civil service worker with the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla. & a U.S. Navy veeteran of the Korean War.  Mr. Hunt was a member of Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church.   Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Garrett Hunt of Poplar Creek; 3 daughters, Linda Baggett & her husband, Leland, of Robertsdale, Ala.,  Carol Barrett & her husband, Curtis, of Daphne, Ala., Janet Morris & her husband, John, of Quinton, Ala.;  2 sons, Billy Hunt & his wife, Glenda, of Poplar Creek & Randy Hunt of Robertsdale, Ala.; 11 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
