Sept. 7, 1978 The Winona Times Winona, Ms.   Mrs. Katie Mae Burns   Mrs. Katie Mae Burns, 82, of Weir, widow of the late Oliver Burns, died Aug. 28, at Care Inn in Greenwood.  She is survived by 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Eva Cochran of Durant, Mrs. Flora Johnson of Cleveland & Mrs. Irene Key of Memphis; 5 stepsons, Odell Burns & Wayne Burns both of Jackson, Amzie Burns of Greenville, Otha Burns of Charleston, SC., & Davis Burns of Shaw. Funeral services were held at Bethsaida Baptist Church conduct by Rev. Bill Foster at 3;00 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 30.  Burial was in church cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge.   Pallbearers were Billy Cochran, Lynn Keith, Andy Cochran, W.A.Burns, Davis Burns, & Buddy Johnson.
