The heat is really getting to me. Wish the hawk would come out. Remember back a few months some were talking about when it got real cold the hawks would come out, just wish 1 or 2 would come out. We had elections Tuesday. I helped with it. But the place was good & cool. But a few came in & was complaining about it. We told them to go outside & get warm. There will be a run off the 23 & then the General election will be in Nov. Our garden is gone except the okra. I need to get some garlic glove & pur them in the jars & then put the pods in. I love it. I really don't have any news or gossip. So later. Peggy Peggy, you will have to enjoy that canned okra for me as I did not put anything away this year. This week very busy getting my older sister moved. Boy, what a lot of details and things to do. Our hottest ever was 113 and they predicted today would be 112 something, but it only - ONLY? got up to 109, but lots of people having to work outside were sick. It was just awful. But about 3-4 o'clock, a storm blew up and across OKC, at one big water park, it blew some people down in a parking lot and dropped a lot of water just in certain spots, but not our area, we just had a few drops on my windshield. Mary and I were talking about the pretty clouds over OKC on our way home from Norman, we had no idea what those pretty clouds were doing up there! Yesterday, we had a big fire a few miles east of us, got a few houses I heard. The military guys were dropping those big containers of water on it, one lady said it would look like the water had put it out but by the time the helicopter had left for a nother load of lake water, the fire would pop back up, but those helicopters really did help. It's been a really long day and so much working and packing and sorting, tonight I find I am holding my hand on my back and wanting to walk bent over, so will go to bed and see if I feel better in the morning, which I hope and am not really walking all bent over. Goodnight!
