    1. Re: [PTREE] Gardening...
    2. I will have to buy whatever I cook this year, never got anything planted. There is a new stand in Lexington,Ok, where a few friends and I like to visit, it is a little ways south of here. It may be time to take another trip, they had wonderful peaches last year. Don't know what they would have now, maybe better to call first. I had lots and lots of peaches to put in the freezer last year, they freeze most years before they get blooms so I really worked on getting them picked, washed, peeled and cut up and in the freezer. I did a basket early every morning. They look dark but turn the most wonderful color when I am cooking them with sugar to make pies. Yes, I have a great pie crust recipe but being lazy, I asked Joe to bring me 3 different kinds of pie crusts when he goes to Walmart later today. I want to try them out. Do you have a favorite bought crust? Field's Pecan Pies are made in Pauls Valley, OK., you can stop in at their outlet store there and buy the crusts already in the pie tins. They were good with these peaches last year. Later Nova . In a message dated 6/24/2011 10:27:40 A.M. It rained Wed. night and again Thurday afternoon for a few minutes. It has started clouding up now and is headed this way but you never can tell. It may skip us and dump everything on Tampa. We aren't complaining because we need the rain. It has been really hot down here. We had no spring to speak of, it just got hot suddenly. I do my outside chores and take my morning walks before 9 a.m. Dorothy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ed brown" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 24, 2011 10:43 AM Subject: Re: [PTREE] Clean Underwear and Peggy! >I wish I was closer to Peggy, I would surely help her shell the purple hull > peas, I love them with > corn bread and a good pork chop...
