Jan. 18, 1979 The Winona Times Winona, Ms.   Hoyt Porter Irwin   Hoyt Porter Irwin, 87, of Kilmichael, died Tuesday, Jan. 9 at the Kilmichael Hospital.   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Brooks Irwin of Kilmichael; 3 daughters, Mrs. Carl McElroy of Vaiden,  Mrs. Mabel Chandler & Mrs. Stella Stagg, both of Kosciusko; 2 son, Maurine Irwin of Cleveland, ( I left 1 son out); 1 sister, Maru Veva Pilon of Longview, Texas; 3 brothers, Dave Harris Irwin of Fort Worth, Texas, Elbert Maurine Irwin & Noel Irwin, both of Cleurne, Texas; 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren.   Serices were held at Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Dan Beardain & Rev.  George Cantin officiating.   Burial was in Poplar Creek Nations Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge o arrangements.   Palbearers were David McElroy, Troy Hodges, Douglas McElroy, Lloyd Erwin, Paul Erwin, & Guy Erwin.
