    1. Re: [PTREE] Still here- Checking in.
    2. Suzie, So glad you are doing well and still able to do what you want to do. Sorry about your husband's stroke, but sounds like he is doing ok now too. Good to hear from you. It was nice meeting you in Miss. You guys keep taking care of each other and kids and on down the line. Welcome back, Nova . In a message dated 2/18/2013 7:12:10 P.M. Central Standard Time, justsuzie2004@yahoo.com writes: I'd like to apologize to anyone that has asked me anything, been searching for me, or sent a message I haven't replied to. I can FINALLY say after many years, my life is slowly getting back to some sense of normal or at least a close enough resemblence I can deal with it. If any of you asked me anything important, you may want to ask again. Though I try to keep up best I can, I usually browse through the email when I have a moment and only open the things that are personal and tell myself I've got to remember to get back to the rest soon when I'm more awake. I've got 3 grandsons and just completed my senior year of college. I've not had time for anything besides my school email account and returning phone calls. Between my senior year and planning three weddings (still working on two), major milestones with the grandsons, I've found out I have a nephew I never knew about and got to go meet him and his wife, along with their two existing children and be there for the announcment all the way through the being there when my beautiful great-niece Ellie was born. It has been a crazy few years! We actually sat down and counted the other day and since 2004 I have had 19 major surgeries (including a transplant) and 12 outpatient procedures. The 24th of this month will be an anniversary for me too. It will be the first full year since 2004 I've gone without a surgery or being hospitalized. My husband is blaming me for speaking too soon about our freedom from the hospital, he had a stroke Jan. 16th. We are very blessed that he only has mild permanent damage. He has a mild limp and very mild slurred speech. It sure doesn't stop him from fussing and giving everybody a hard time. Everybody except the grands that is, they have him wrapped no matter how much he denies it. Anyway, I'm about to get caught up around the house so maybe I can get around to catching up on some of this email (5581 unread to be exact) then get back to climbing the old tree while the kids aren't around. I graduate May 14th so I have until then to catch up and goof off, after that I have to try to put this degree to work for me. Hope all is well with everyone, it sure feels good to be back. 3. Our news tonight showed pictures of buckets full of raw sewage sitting around on the deck. If I had someone on board that ship I would worry, too. They said the boat was expected to reach the port about midnight. I got a telephone call a few minutes ago ... the caller said "Congratulations! You have been selected for a free cruise." It's a scam.... they have called before but they said "You have won a free cruise" ... and I just hang up because I haven't entered any contests to win. Not sure what they are really selling....but with the news being so bad it's a bad time to try to sell someone on a cruise. It was moving very slowly at that time but is not moving at all now (for several hours) because of a broken tug line. In fact, because it is just drifting I can tell that it has actually drifted away from land. I can tell that by my position on the deck and by its proximity to a certain gas rig. Even when they get it moving again it will take at least six hours to reach port, maybe longer. If Mobile authorities win the battle over traveling at night through the Mobile Bay channel, they won't be getting in tonight. My husband will probably see it out there when he takes the dog for a sunrise walk in the morning. I really feel for those poor people who are so excited to be getting home tonight. 1. [PTREE] Latest on the cruise ship
    2. The word is they can dock tonight regardless of the time. I just went down to Fort Morgan to get a closer look as it nears Mobile Bay. There are hundreds of people on the beach rooting for them to make it home tonight. What a sight. Pat

    3. Is Fort Morgan on the Mobile side or Spanish Fort side.  I may have it mixed up.  Peggy ________________________________ From: "pdacus@gulftel.com" <pdacus@gulftel.com> To: Palmertree Group <palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2013 4:06 PM Subject: [PTREE] Latest on the cruise ship The word is they can dock tonight regardless of the time.  I just went down to Fort Morgan to get a closer look as it nears Mobile Bay.  There are hundreds of people on the beach rooting for them to make it home tonight.  What a sight.  Pat ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALMERTREE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    1. [PTREE] I'm watching the stranded cruise ship from my deck
    2. About ten this monring I could see the cruise ship from my house here in Fort Morgan, AL. 3. Janie, don't talk about big dogs in the house. I like dogs on the outside. Niece Val had 2 boxers but 1 has died, plus a pit, & they all looked like ponies. The pit had to be put down.  Then she got 2 more.  Bet Saben is about a foot plus across the back. ________________________________ From: "janiegaby@suddenlink.net" <janiegaby@suddenlink.net> To: pdacus@gulftel.com; Palmertree Group <palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2013 3:26 PM Subject: Re: [PTREE] I'm watching the stranded cruise ship from my deck Happy Valentines Day to all!  Pretty day here but a little cooler than usual.
