    3. Janie, Did you ever get an answer about this? Jerry can explain about the White connection a lot better than I can. Ken -----Original Message----- From: palmertree-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:palmertree-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of janiegaby@suddenlink.net Sent: Wednesday, March 06, 2013 7:35 PM To: Palmertree Subject: [PTREE] FTM I started going back to put in notes & obits and found I had entered them already for the first 41 pages. Sure was glad as I had some long ones in those pages. I also decided I could not read all my notes on each page because if it was something that needed to be done I had already taken care of it and I don’t need to waste all that time. Got a few questions: Jerry, don’t know how much of this you know about but found quite a few things on Aunt Ruby. 1. Find her listed as (Ruby) Willie White when she married Lee Monroe Devine. Where did the “white” come from. It is her maiden name? ( Here is a note from my database: Personal Notes by Ken Jackson: She was married to a White, then Lee Divine before she married Uncle Homer. Her maiden name is supposed to be Foley, according to mama, but some of her grandchildren wonder if this really was her maiden name.) On the 1940 census, she had a son that lived with her and Uncle Homer in Carroll Co., MS. Up Airbase Road almost to Centerville Baptist. I think Jerry and I talked about her remembering living there. But for the life of me, I cannot remember his first name. I foun d them on the 1940 Carroll Co., MS census once, but didn't note the location and could not find it again. 2. Did Lee Devine die in Blackhawk or Koscuisko? He was -1-1973born 2.24.1893 and died 1-1-73 and is buried in Hesterville in the New Salem Cemetery. He married Grace Lee Woods after Ruby. Grace was born 6—9-18 in Tate Co., MS. and died 5-19-97 in Attala Co., MS. (Unknown to me. Be nice to get a death certificate for him.) 3. Grace has a son listed as James Earl Van Cleave born 11-19-45 (this seems improbable as Grace was born in 1918 but not impossible) and he died 1-6-90 in Vietnam. I didn’t find anything to indicate who his father was. He and his mother were also buried in New Salem Cemetery. (Unfamiliar with this, too.) 4. Do you know who Henry was? One place he is called her brother and one place her father! ( I have her parents as John Henry Foley and Angie F. Henry. Was this Henry's name Henry Foley?) Does anyone know what name Horton Lee Jr. went by. I don’t have any info on him. I did find his mother, Rubylee Frances buried on 11-5-86 at Westlawn Memorial Park & Mausoleum Cemetery. (All I ever knew was "Horton Junior".) I have two death dates for Uncle Golden. Did he die in 1961 or 1962? (6 Dec 1962 - buried at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, Leflore Co. MS.) (His obituary from the Delta- Democrat, Greenville, Ms, 4 Dec 1962:) --------------------------------- Golden Palmertree Greenwood - Golden Palmertree, 52, a longtime resident, died in Greenwood-Leflore Hospital today about 7 a.m., after a lengthy illness. Funeral arrangements by Williams and Lord Funeral Home are incomplete. Born in Montgomery County, Mr. Palmertree had lived most of his life here. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church here. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Blanche Palmertree; two daughters, Betty Palmertree and Mrs. Lyle Lamb, all of Greenwood; two sons, Ernie Ray Palmertree of Greenwood and David Palmertree of Alameda, CA; one sister, Mrs. Ernest Jackson of Greenwood; three brothers, Homer Palmertree of Greenwood, Leon Palmertree and Percy C. Palmertree, Sr., both of Greenville. Ken

    1. [PTREE] Data entry/??
    2. I finally finished the last page last night!!! When I first printed it out it had 600 pages, old printer and old version of FTM, and to print out the same thing now would be about 700 pages. During the first printing I ran out of ink and the printer kept going putting out unreadable and finally blank pages. When I finally noticed it I stopped it. The pages were not numbered on that printing. I tried to go back and add missing pages but it was hard with a newer version of FTM and a different printer. I think I got them all but am fixing to do a thorough check to be sure. Also have a few other things to do before I start again and enter notes and obits. I did that at first but decided to only put in essential information and then come back for extras. Figured if I kicked the bucket it would be best to have all people entered. Info: Terry Lynn Palmertree married William Joseph Lisiecki on 11 Feb 2005 in Clark Co., NV., USA (Dark print is new information) Colon Palmertree married Ruby Merowitz and have two children listed under the marriage. Taylor Merowitz 31 Dec 1997 Justin Merowitz 10 Jan 1996 Why is their last name Merowitz and not Palmertree??? Colon next married Beckie Lee Decanter and they have the following two children listed: Michael Decanter 22 Jun 1991 Corey Palmertree 02 Jun 1993 What is the story on these two??? Cynthia Ann Cotton, 1974-2007. married Rickey(Ricky) Allen Barnett 12 May 1995. Cynthia Ann died 24 Jun 2007 at Paris Regional Medical Center. She lived in Cooper TX. She was buried 28 Jun 2007 in Oaklawn Cemetery. Anyone know which Oaklawn??? No surviving husband listed so evidently she and Ricky were divorced. In the obit all of her 5 children were listed as Barnetts. However, other information contains the following children with no DOB: F. Joyceline Dionne Barnett F. Jade Leann Cotton M. Julian Dominique Brown M. Jarrel Laron Brown M. Joshua Barnett Can anyone explain all this??? To keep up with relationships I have been lissting the person under husband/wife and under when married I put “Relationship only”. This is so common now I am going to contact FTM about changing program to reflect this separately. Also they need to modify the layout of the Genealogical Report so it is easy to read and understand. We are having a BEAUTIFUL day! Janie
