    3.       In reading the 2003 emails, we were talking about the Kosciusko City Cem. with the marker of the woman that had an archor (which looked like an ax). I've got a picture somewhere, but have got to get someone to show me how to send pictures.  But I want Nova to come to Miss. again & take her to see it.  Even if Lisa would met me somewhere we could go see it.  It has been so long since I've been there, I may get lost.  After I've thought about it, it isn't hard to find. Just finding the place to turn to go down to the tomb.   Ken it really isn't to far from the library.  It would be fun to get you down in all those graves.  You wouldn't have to worry about me leaving you for I can't walk too fast.

    3.       Jeannine, I saw where you had wrote about the old Baptist hospital with ghost. Go by what is now the Baptist -south, there is a building that was the old one, & it was turned into apartments or offices. It is across the street.  That is the one I remember. Could be another one that is older.  But I remember going to visit someone there when I was small.   Peggy

    3. I'm trying to stay away from the comp. also, but I've gone to the P'tree archives & rereading some of the old mail.   I may just start going painting Mondays & Wednesdays. For the last 2 Fridays, Basil has gone to Winona with me, so I haven't been able to look at the old papers.  When I get finished looking up the obits. I'll just go across the hall & look up the marriages or any good case of the family. LOL.   We didn't start getting any rain until about 5:00 pm.  It is going to turn colder tomarrow.   Have a nice week.  Peggy ________________________________ From: "janiegaby@suddenlink.net" <janiegaby@suddenlink.net> To: Palmertree <Palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 10, 2013 4:52 PM Subject: [PTREE] info Pretty day again today.  Had rain before I got up but didn’t stay around long. 2. I see someone has already set up a cemetery on findagrave. My great-grandfather, William Terrell Garrett, had a sister who died in the Insane Asylum in Jackson. She was a patient on the 1900 census. The story goes her father, Joshua Garrett, would not let her marry the man she loved and she went crazy. Even if we never know which bodies were uncovered, I guess she qualifies as a memorial in that cemetery. Old papers or records should be keep on some kind of reels.  There is a cemetery at Whitfield but I don't know what kind of records are kept.    Peggy ________________________________ From: "pdacus@gulftel.com" <pdacus@gulftel.com> To: Palmertree Group <palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 9, 2013 1:23 PM Subject: Re: [PTREE] Walt's Look Around: UMMC graves I see someone has already set up a cemetery on findagrave. 1. Re: [PTREE] Hi Ken,
    2. Ken, Glad you are over it, I guess Joe is over his or almost. So it wasn't anything too bad. He's off on his reg Sat. morning routine, but did add the fairgrounds in Norman as Beverly and her Legion Aux Ladies were part of a big flea market today. They raise money to send girls to speaking contests and Girl's state and other worthwhile projects. Joe called me and told me to bring a clothespin for my nose that it smelled like horse poo (not his word) in that building. The center is dirt where they display animals and all that at real fair time. I was speaking to Beverly later and she said it's not that bad, but she is by one of the big open doors. I told her that Joe was used to talking horse poo not smelling it. So glad you both are feeling better. That is sooooo true what you said about it hurts your ego more than your body when you fall. With everyone and their cellphones around every where now, I am surprised no one got a pic of my fall in Ky last summer. But it was within a corner of the tiki hut patio that had lots of bushes around it so I think they shielded my fall of shame. Ha ha Later Nova . In a message dated 3/9/2013 12:49:30 A.M. I have almost fallen in the pedestrian zone ( I really don't think anyone knows what that is anymore), so I really have to watch it crossing the street. I'm waiting for the day a little old lady helps me across the crosswalk! However, there are a lot of very nice people around who take the time to GET OUT OF YOUR WAY, and even help you. One day I was at Wal-Mart and passed a guy leaving. Would you believe he actually took time to come back and help me, since I was about to lose it then. He must have been a real Christian to have a big heart like that. Now days folks are in too big of a hurry to help someone - young or old. Joe had his first fall two weeks ago. He fell stepping into one of the barn/garages. He scraped his forehead a little and was just shaken up. Last week one of his knees really started giving him trouble. He finally called and could not get in to his Dr fast enough, went to minor emergency when he started having such pain he almost couldn't walk. That guy said it was either a pulled ligament or arthritis, gave him something for pain & steroids of some kind. If he is not better next week, he goes back for MRI. He was looking for some crutches a minute ago. We used to have some in the garage but think we loaned them to some of the family. I wish he would carry his cell phone with him around here, sometimes I am in town a lot and I worry about him, he said when he fell, I hope I don't pass out, who knows if he did or not? Anyway, certainly glad you are healing well, If you took a photo I will exchange face plant phtos with you. Ha Ha. I face planted a concrete patio last May in KY. I really did look just like I had been beat up, with makeup and my glasses it didn't show much, but Joe said he wasn't going anywhere with me until it healed. ha ha I already had an eye doc apt so that was good, I had him check my eyes out good. Where I fell was at a KY Derby Party at Joe's sister's house. She is an insurance broker, she probably tripled her home owners after that. ha ha and NO Ken & Peggy I was NOT drinking. I was helping Joe's younger bro start picking up cups and paper plates, started to step up on the patio of the tiki hut and my sandal toe tripped over the edge of it. Pat said he tried to grab me but I went too fast!! I teased Joe that I was saving those pictures in case I needed them to use against him. ha ha The worse part, I didn't bet on any good horses. The only one I saw really winning any money was our son Dave.(two real bookies were in the tiki hut) But seeing everyone is such fun. We had a Ladies Derby Hat contest but Clayton, Lisa's husband won third place for his little bowler? black hat with a 1/2 of a plastic horse, the back half !!! glued on the front. Lisa won second, her hat had horses that would swirl around the crown of the hat and roses. Ken, I'm so glad you are back on line!! Miss when you are not. Bye Nova (Me, too!)

    3. Peggy, Not much - about one inch, sticking around until the sun came up, then it melted rather quickly. Methinks Spring is playing games with us... 3. Janie, -----Original Message----- I finally finished the last page last night!!! When I first printed it out it had 600 pages, old printer and old version of FTM, and to print out the same thing now would be about 700 pages. During the first printing I ran out of ink and the printer kept going putting out unreadable and finally blank pages. When I finally noticed it I stopped it. The pages were not numbered on that printing. I tried to go back and add missing pages but it was hard with a newer version of FTM and a different printer. I think I got them all but am fixing to do a thorough check to be sure. Also have a few other things to do before I start again and enter notes and obits. I did that at first but decided to only put in essential information and then come back for extras. Figured if I kicked the bucket it would be best to have all people entered. Info: Terry Lynn Palmertree married William Joseph Lisiecki on 11 Feb 2005 in Clark Co., NV., USA (Dark print is new information) (Thank you - I didn't have that marriage). Colon Palmertree married Ruby Merowitz and have two children listed under the marriage. Taylor Merowitz 31 Dec 1997 Justin Merowitz 10 Jan 1996 Why is their last name Merowitz and not Palmertree??? (I suppose she either married a Merowitz before, or her maiden name was Merowitz, had two children out of wedlock, and she gave them her maiden name?) Colon next married Beckie Lee Decanter and they have the following two children listed: Michael Decanter 22 Jun 1991 Corey Palmertree 02 Jun 1993 What is the story on these two??? (Must be same answer as above?) Cynthia Ann Cotton, 1974-2007. married Rickey(Ricky) Allen Barnett 12 May 1995. Cynthia Ann died 24 Jun 2007 at Paris Regional Medical Center. She lived in Cooper TX. She was buried 28 Jun 2007 in Oaklawn Cemetery. Anyone know which Oaklawn??? (Just named Oaklawn Cemetery, Cooper, Delta Co., TX - aka New Home Cemetery) No surviving husband listed so evidently she and Ricky were divorced. In the obit all of her 5 children were listed as Barnetts. However, other information contains the following children with no DOB: F. Joyceline Dionne Barnett F. Jade Leann Cotton M. Julian Dominique Brown M. Jarrel Laron Brown M. Joshua Barnett Can anyone explain all this??? ( According to her obit, all her children's last names was BARNETT. Adoption by other husband? We are having a BEAUTIFUL day! Janie (Don't rub it in....) Ken

    3. I sure would love to see her again. She has such a personality! Make me laugh over nothing. We 3 Muskateers (me, Peggy, Martina) sure had some good times running around "researching" together. I really like that cousin. I hope things are ok with her and the family. Peggy - if you hear from her sometime, please tell her for me that I really miss her. Ken   _________________________________ While I'm thinking about birthdays, there is another one that a few of us know.  It's Martina.  So I hope she will have a good birthday. Plus, many more.   Peggy
