Dorothy, what is awful, is that the book I bought is Iphone 4, 4s & 5 for Dummies. ha ha I still have problems understanding it. I looked up Scanning last night because I wanted to know how to scan the squares you see everywhere now. The book only explained how to scan barcodes. But I guess it is the same thing, so later I will try that. It was something Really Important!! I was going to look up. OU's Harlem Stomp. HA HA. I try to learn something every day and then will probably have to update again. I did learn something really fast, couple of weeks ago I was visiting our son in CA. He was driving up I-5. He was looking in the rear view mirror and said Check this out!!!! A guy is going to pass us doing a wheelie on his motorcycle. Well that fast, I was able to video the guy doing a wheelie, he must have gone on for a mile or more. We could not believe it. He did have a helmet on. although it had a Mohawk decoration on top of it. I could not believe I hit the right button or buttons to do that, instantly. Thanks for the help, Dorothy. That is hilarious!!! I just had to get a new phone from Verizon, I have for years had my little flip phone that would only talk and text . Went to the Kosciusko library today & looked at some of the old papers. The following may not be connected to anyone on line but it is just interesting. The Star Leger Kosciusko, Ms. Jan. 18, 1918 In Memory One the morning of Decemer the 27th, the breath of life departed & the spirit of Mrs. Sarah Jenkins returned to God, "who gave & hath taken away". Now with sadness, like unto Job, & our Saviour we bow before the throne of God & cry, "Blessed be the name of our Lord," for he doeth all things for the best for those who love him. For twenty days, Mrs. Jenkins suffered & bore the pain of death. Then the death angel came & relieved he of her suffering, toil, & cares of this world. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Cahoma County, & moved to Attala in 1864, wher she has spent her life laboring as al true southern women have. Thwe hardships of the Civil War & the Days of Reconstruction she endured with patience & fortitude, seeking at all times to contribute her share in the development of her country. She joined the Baptist church at the age of sixteen, & for over 50 yearsshe has been a true Christian & faithful soldier of Christ' kingdom on earth. She was a faithful wife & the devoted mother of 6 children, 5 of which are living & numbered among those Who love the Lord. Mrs. Jenkins was loved by every one in our community. To the bereaved ones, her many friends extend sympathy. A friend
Ken, I am glad you were able to get the entire series, its really good, well done too.. I see they are going to rerun in on the History channel and have it out on DVD now.... I'll be watching the final program Easter Sunday night at 8 on History channel... Ed -----Original Message----- From: Palmertree Listowner Sent: Thursday, March 28, 2013 5:13 AM To: 'Peggy Palmertree' ; palmertree@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PTREE] Passover Cuz, I enjoyed your little note about the Bible series. I have already downloaded the whole series is xvid format and am going to watch it in its entirety this weekend. That also includes the last part, airing on Easter Sunday night. Sure do thank Ed for bringing that to my attention. He can send some good stuff once in awhile, huh? Since I gave up satellite TV, I only can watch the local stations, and not all the satellite channels. But that is enough for me since the off-air stations went digital. It's even better than satellite channels!! Just don't get the special channels like History and Discovery. But I have ways of getting the programs I want to see anyway. Hope you have a good week - and a great Easter Sunday. I remember when I was younger, we always went to "sunrise service" at Centerville Baptist up the road from us. We'd gather in front of the cemetery on the hill, facing East and enjoy singing and a little preaching, remembering what Easter Sunday was all about. I well remember the sun coming up on us and how beautiful it was coming up across the road. What memories. I really enjoyed the note you sent about the real crucifixion. I almost couldn't finish the story - so gruesome and sickening. And to think - He could have just snapped his fingers and been freed from all that agony and humiliation. I am so thankful to Him for giving his life for me so that I don't have to face eternal damnation. Won't it be great to see you there and laugh and remember all the good times we had as friends on earth? I don't think anyone can even imagine what joy there will be there. Anyway - I wish you a great Easter Day and that you feel His Presence with you always. I know I do. People can judge me all they want to, but I know that God knows my heart, and that Jesus died for my sins, which I have asked forgiveness for - and that He has thrown my sins into "the sea of forgetfulness". If I could only do that for people I hold grudges against..... Is that sinful? There are people in my past (like Jerry McNeer) who I don't think I can ever forgive for their transgressions against me. More later. Cuz -----Original Message----- I heard "The Bible" was being watch more than any other show on TV. I hope that it isn't taken off because of the non-christians, or the aclu.
