Janie, I don't have a burial place for him, but I have Nancy Lee Palmertree Dorman buried at Bethany. Should ask Peggy for sure, since she is a member of Bethany and knows that cemetery front to back. Also, I have Ellis Dorman died in 1967 in Butte County, California. Could he be buried out there somewhere, and someone just added him to Bethany Cemetery because his wife, Nancy Lee was buried there? Evidently she and Ellis Dorman were divorced. She married him in 1919, and married Jessie James Hutchins-Perry in 1922. Ken ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ken Jackson Administrator, Palmertree Mailing List
Boy, that is something, for Nancy to md. in 1919 to Ellis & had 4 children & md. Jess in 1922 & then had 5 children. Since Bennie & Susan is on line, I won't say an more about all those children. ________________________________ From: Ken Jackson <kjchowboy@bellsouth.net> To: Palmertree Mailing List <palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 3, 2013 4:09 PM Subject: [PTREE] Ellis L. All this started when I printed out family sheets for all my "Thomas Henry's" and was checking against FAG. I did have my Henry's right in computer. I had a duplicate Henry in computer and got rid of it. I think summer is here and probably be a hot one! Hitchcock, TX south of Houston, had baseball size hail last night and it total 7 out of 11 patrol cars, ruined electronic equipment on most of them. Janie, Maggie Lee NATIONS, b/ 27 Jun 1873, d/ 20 Jun 1942, married Thomas Henry "Samp" Palmertree, and they are Besil's parents. Mark Green, b/ 1 Jun 1898, d/ 21 Mar 1988, married Ethel Palmertree. After she died, he married Nellie Mae Tindoll, who had previously married Robert Wilson Pullen. (Last man to be hanged in Montgomery County, MS). Will share that story if you haven't heard it already. Ethel Green Palmertree and Ethel Palmertree are the same person, and is a female. Wonder why it got mixed up like that on FAG?? (Name reversed). Peggy can fill you in on that with pleasure. Believe it or not it sleeted on me coming out of Wal-Mart this afternoon about 5:30 p.m.! I was amazed, since weatherman-don't-know-it-all didn't mention anything about colder weather on the weathercast last night! Garden spot is calling "help me, help me". So come on Spring, get with it! Hi Peggy, Yes we got some showers on Saturday and last night into early this morning it rained some we are even above our average rainfall for the year, but still far behind from the last couple of years..... The lake rose by 8 feet this month still almost 10 feet below full pool stage.... I was watching the Golf Match Sunday Afternoon after lunch when the storm blew thru the area... it was another really good match right down the the end... We got a good rain this afternoon and thunder and lightning and a little hail. We are in a high drought zone so every little bit of rain helps. Houston open had to be stopped for a while but they managed to get it finished. They had had beautiful weather otherwise. It is not too far from here where they have it. I am doing better or faster going back through my hard copy of Palmertree family and putting in notes and obits. I don't like too many getting through the first hundred pages. I do have a question. Emma Dora "Emmie" Palmertree had four husbands. According to info I have one of them, Orlando Tittle, died 12 Apr 1908 and they married in 1943. Evidently one of the dates is incorrect. She had three children, 2 M, 1F, whose last name was Braswell. What is the story on this. Ann "Duffie" Arnold used the name "Ann" when she was young and then I find where she called herself Duffy Mae. Her mothers name was Sarah Elizabeth "Sallie" NAIL. -----Original Message----- From: Peggy Palmertree Sent: Sunday, March 31, 2013 8:00 PM To: palmertree@rootsweb.com Subject: [PTREE] today We had a real nice day.
